    They are spline lug nuts I got for my pro comp wheels and re used. I do think It’s my fault. They were probably too tight.

    I used an electric impact to put them on. Probably wasn’t the smartest thing

    ET=extended threads Still uses the acorn seat but has that .25" worth of extended threads to engage and not just a few turns

    You need at least 7 full turns on the lug nuts as per all wheel manufacturers to not over stress the studs and torque properly. I have seen this a bunch on toyotas from not enough thread engagement.

    No problem I hate people getting sent the wrong stuff for their application and not knowing any better and trusting that what they are getting is correct yet it causes issues like what the OP is going through. Just glad this didn't happen on the Hwy like he stated he was on just a few mins before.
