Idaho BS thread in the PNW

Holy crap, that's crazy!!

 

In my opinion it's starting to get overcrowded in and around boise because everyone is moving here from everywhere. It feels like crime is getting worse, there use to be hardly any crime on the news but it's becoming more and more common. I came here 25 years ago to get away but am thinking it may be catching up soon. There's a ton of beautiful places here but people are beginning to trash it and leave their junk everywhere. Im constantly picking up trash anytime I fish or camp unfortunately...Just my two cents....

Boise is terrible, really all of Idaho is overrated. Guns everywhere. Some towns don’t have paved roads much less a McDonald’s. Lots of mischief going on, something has been steeling my eggs from the chickens and I don’t trust the squirrels around my Toyota

But there is nothing in Idaho. It’s windy, cold, and windy. It really is a horrible place to live.

 

Yeah, finding a good, secret place to live seems to be getting harder and harder. I'm always looking at other options but it's hard to think of leaving Idaho after living here more than half my life but the overcrowdedness and carelessness is getting extremely annoying and not to mention, no one knows how to drive here. Maybe 1 out of 10 are good drivers lol.

 

We definitely have a ton of restaurants and stores here to choose from. I don't go out often anymore because people lol, but I've worked retail my whole life is partly why I'm like this but we do have some pretty good food places I guess. Im all about fishing and camping when I can so that's why I'm still here

 

These are the things I tried to do when I lived there and there were like one active member in boise. the fuck

 

what in the actual hell thats a lot of rigs. Boi sure has bloomed in the 3ish years ive been gone lol

 

Well just because m3bassman isn't organizing group outings doesn't mean we all can't make our own.

Well I'd like to try to join an outing one of these days on a good beginner trail if anyone will have me this spring or summer...

 

Howdy long time no see!

 

I'm up in the Coeur D'alene area and also new to the area. Don't know any trails or spots to go yet. Would anyone in that area interested in planning a camping/offroad weekend trip this spring/summer?

 

Im up in the same area, I dont really offroad. but we go camping fishing a lot. Theres plenty roads and places to see.

 

Same here, nothing crazy with the wheelin but I just love being outdoors around good people enjoying nature.

 

lots of roads are closed due to snow, then there will be mud but late spring early summer everything starts to open up and you can go miles without hitting pavement. heres one near me. not too far from CDA but its prob not open now due to snow. https://parksandrecreation.idaho.gov/parks/mccroskey

 

Thanks man, appreciate the tips. I was thinking end of June/early July. Ill post on here if I end up planning something. I attended a ton of group events and meets back in CA so would be cool to meet some of the PNW guys on here.
