All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
    You coming up tonight?

It was cold, wet, and windy last night. We had a great campfire and great company. Nice turnout too, 12-15 rigs. Awesome time.

I figured I'd upload a few pics since I'm back at home. I didn't realize there wasn't gas near the church, so I split right after we got there and got gas back in Dahlonega. I took Cooper's Gap on the way back, it was crazy foggy.

Fog cleared up when I got there, but rain started. I took the turn into the field and barely got across with my ATs. Josh came to watch and make sure I got across ok. Everyone had set up by the time I got there and parked. Since I was there with my son Noah, I figured I'd set up on the edge of the area. That worked well, he had a 2-hour long nap and it was easy to pack when we ended up leaving.

    IMG_0047.jpg

It rained a LOT until about 3 or so. Maddie (my dog) kept getting cold, so she ended up napping in the back of the truck. I should have taken more pictures, I only snapped a few.

I got to check out JB's trailer (awesome) and Brad's rig, which is a lot like mine (also awesome). There were 3 of us white 3rd gens there (TRDRidgeRunner being the 3rd), clearly white is the best color for 3rd gens.

It warmed up for a bit, but then got real gusty. I almost had my awning blow away twice. We made dinner, and I packed up everything in camp to make sure it didn't blow away during the evening.

That turned out to be a good thing, while I was packing, my son Noah kept clinging to me and asking if it was going to storm since it was getting dark. He asked to go home. Since it was his first trip, I didn't want to push him and make him stay since he had so much fun earlier in the day. I asked Noah if he wanted to go camping again in the summer and he got really excited -- he made sure to tell everyone we were going to see them again in the summer. That said, Brad, Brian, Jeff, Josh, JB, Nate, etc -- all of you, it was great meeting y'all. Thanks for making Noah feel welcome. He had a great time and so did I. I look forward to next time, we'll stay longer so I can stay up late and properly drink and bullshit when the kiddo's asleep.

Was killer meeting all of you, solid group of people. It appears as though I surprised a lot of you, thinking I was some old fart lol

The weather was what it was, but turned out to be a beautiful day.

I had a blast and I appreciate no one being an a$$hat, well except for Josh’s sacracastic a$$ ;)

@BYJOSHCOOK thanks for spearheading this, and taking us up to the site. Never been up there and I will be back, with mud tires.

@TheUglyOne thanks again for you help out there with pulling me out and helping with the highlift. Tell your bros you brought, that they are solid.

I look forward to us all meeting up again, and will get something in the works for the ACC BBQ.
