I would also like to mention this for the 1% of Tacos on TW without seat covers (yet.) The bottom rear of the front seats are an excellent place for rip away pouches.

 

It was 800 canadian. Bit of cutting remove the nose piece and trim so it looks good. Not sure if they ship. Flex it fab check them out on Facebook.

 

Did you do the install yourself? Prior experience?

 

Swapped chrome TRD OR surround for black SR grille surround.

 

@Mobtown Offroad has a great low Pro winch bumper. Should be up on site soon. Similar install, minimal weight, minimal cutting.

 

Got my new bhlm headlights put in finally.

 

I wired my 4 whites to DRL and Headlights, now my grill lights and DRL’s run all the time, I like it

 

Is it wrong to own a Sport but plan on getting Off Road fender flare and valance to add more black? I think I have problems..

Did you use splices to connect into the factory DRL harness like the recent runnin4tacos video showed or did you use an alternative method?

Glad you reminded me...........I am going to label all my connections as well. I have a brother label maker, gonna see how that works out.

 

Good stuff. Just found out mine is brother brand too. I was fuckin around with the different font sizes to see what would work, while I can’t really work on the truck.
I just used the labels, and clear heat shrink tube to finish it off, still going through trial and errors.

 

Brackets are powder coated in a nice gloss black. I personally wouldn't paint them, but of course that's personal preference. The painted holes are hidden under the bracket if you do a good job at masking them so all you see is the nice black bracket and the truck paint color. As I mentioned though, the pop rivets are very tight needing a few hammer on screwdriver wacks to get them seated. I'm pretty sure this does a bit of a number on the newly painted surfaces they rub on as they go in. But screw it, if they rust out in 10 years, I'll buy a new hood. I'll start saving my pennies.

 

How do you like the decked system? Been going back and forth on this system or building my own.

 

I have the Dual sitting in the box. Did you pull (basically) the entire dash apart to install? I put aside for another day when I couldn't get access through the stereo hole or just remove the 12V.

 

Absolutely love it! Serves its purpose. Keeps all the hunting and offroading equipment organized and out of the weather. Would buy again in a heartbeat!
