This and I suspect you selected a tune file that is not compatible with your ECU. Go back, check your downloads and confirm you have the right file selected.

Yeah I know that's why I figured I'd ask if anyone else had this issue for a possible fix.

This was my problem. Works great now. AND for anyone on the fence about using TS to clear learned values... DO IT! Definitely a noticeable improvement when compared to the battery disconnect or clear DTC in FM.

Toyota 4runner dual VVTi 4.0L on dyno jet makes about 225whp,
2GR 3.5 makes 30+ whp more with tune, dyno jet tested.

2GR is stronger engine without a doubt.
Flash manager - help - update. p5Flash should be higher than 1.1.0
    Everyone skips this step.

Also feel terribly sick today. Might not be available tomorrow.

HELL YEAH!...That's awesome man. I have being following this tread now for a few weeks while I wait to see what Toyota is going to do with my truck. Regional tech here in Massachusetts is going to test drive with me for: clunking transmission down shifts from 2-1 (Check oil... I know) Rapid up shifts..same shit as everyone else, (shifted into 5th gear the other day at 26 mph..wtf) and only getting 13.3 mpg (mainly city driving, but I am easy on the skinny pedal.) This kind of mpg is almost a dream at this point. Cant wait to get OVTuned!!!!!!

Got it to work thanks! Man this truck fees great with the shifting! A little more punchy too. Coming from a WRX the tip in feels fine to me. Did about 15 miles and only got 14mpg (I’m all stock and average 18). I assume this will go back up once the tune settles? I’m on 87 performance FYI.

Your mileage should improve greatly. For comparison, I do about 80% city and 20% highway driving. My truck averages 19 to 20 mpg with 265/75/r16 load range E tires and another 300 lbs of armor.

Give it a couple hundred miles for the fuel trims and timing to stabilize. People's driving habits also tend to change slightly (or a lot... ha) after flashing new tunes.

That’s pretty good mpg for that setup. That’s similar to what I have. Hard to get above 18 with base for me.

All this peer pressure finally got me to do the whole 04B03 to 04B04 thing, and unfortunately I am trapped in my driveway due to the GF parking and blocking me in.... As I played with the pedal in the driveway I could tell the tip in is a little more sensitive on the 91 performance tune, needless to say I am excited for tomorrow's commute!

Someone needs to go back and tally up all the people we peer pressured into updating over the past week lol we gotta be to double digits by now

But not a one has regretted it! Just that they didn’t do it sooner ;)

Lot's of peer pressure alright but I think what finally broke the camel's back for most is when Mat posted that 04B04 gots more huevos than 04B03. :D
