Sorry, I meant, is your rig 4wd equipped... sounds like it. 4wd vs 2wd models have different mileage even when both are in 2wd.

You might be ok if perfect conditions. I can get 24 in the summer on the highway 60-65mph. The best mpg I’ve seen is trolling through the back roads around 45 or so. Winter gas is negative impact by about 2 mpg for me.

I averaged 24.5 MPG at 70MPH on a 50 mile stretch of interstate here. Point A has an elevation of 7,400ft and point B has an elevation of 5,800ft.
I've done this trip roughly 5-6 times in the last 3 months.

Your 24mpg is not unusual if there are no traffic slowdowns, lights, etc., and a constant highway speed no more than 70. Lights bring the mpg down drastically.

I have about 5000 miles on my new 2019 and have never seen a tank average higher than 18mpg -- including multiple fill-ups during a 1000 mile highway road trip (NC to NJ, and back).

When I see others post about 20+, it blows my mind.

I was able to pull this off while going 65mph all week. I also have the 2.7 extra cab with a leer top

I usually get around 17-18 in town and up to 25ish on the highway as long as I stay around 65 and it's not horribly windy.

I get 25mpg on the 101 going 45 and hit all the lights with bigger tires and a 3/2 lift. If you have flat driving conditions with not much stopping and speeds under 60, I can believe 24mpg's.

That explains a bit... mine are at 29-31psi dependent on temperature...

    Lots of sail boat fuel
Being local, I'd say expect 18-20 long term. Our 40-50 mph roads will treat you best. winter fuel will knock 2 mpg or so off

Mostly lucky. And calculated by the dash display.

Don't get uber excited until you run several tanks and let it all average out.

Hopefully you will find you have the rare Prius-esque eco package.

But as soon as you start thinking lift, tires, wheels it all goes out the window.

The truck will know what you're thinking. Before you touch it. Feature of Entune having access to your phone and search history. :D

19 2WD trd sport DCSB, all stock other than the bed cover and 3100 miles. Cruise on at 70 pretty much all but 4-6 miles of that. Flat ground and about midnight - 1am so no real traffic. Looked it up at a few points along the way and the wind was calm. It can be done.

It was at 27.3 but 2 traffic lights between the highway and my garage rained on my parade :annoyed:
