Thanks man! It was a lot of work but worth it. Still a couple things to add but it will be at least a couple weeks before anything further happens with this or even starting on the rear bumper.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
Started working on a high clearance rear bumper + swing out this weekend.

    Cut the length

    Laid out my angles.

Made the cuts (these were probably the most time consuming thing there will be on the whole project)

Recessed a hitch. (This is the back side of the bumper)

    Made reinforcement for the hitch.

    Welded the end plates.

Mocked the bumper on to the truck and found the spots to cut the saddles for the mounting brackets. (Brackets will be 3"x1/2" flat bar going through the bumper with shakle mount ends, with 3/16 welded on either side of the 1/2" bar, making a 7/8" shackle mount)

Cut the swing out posts to length. Made the back side of the post continue to bottom of bumper to combat any sag. (Posts are 3/16 wall)

Swing out is replacing the tailgate.

Callihan or power stop. Again. Wouldn't recommend.

Cam tab gussets. Lower cross bar. Engine perches.

    Anything and everything

@Speedytech7 please link the cheaper ones so I can bookmark them and recommend them in the future. I bought expensive ones and am kicking myself about it.

    See below...

The Power Stop 13WLs are on Amazon. If you want red and the bolt heads that hold the two halves together to not rust, get them. See my quote below about the rebate that brings them
    Otherwise get the NAPA ones:

    • NAPA Brake Caliper, Brake Caliper w/ Hardware - Right Front (Eclipse Semi-Loaded) - Remfd, PART # :CAL SE3264
    • NAPA Brake Caliper, Brake Caliper w/ Hardware - Left Front (Eclipse Semi-Loaded) - Remfd, PART # :CAL SE3263
They end up being the same price, so choose by red or not.

Also, you can get cheaper than the PRIME option by choosing the New (3) from $228.99 & FREE shipping link and buying from the cheaper option. You should still be able to use the rebate on that.

That's for the PAIR. Powerstop sells them as a pair. NAPA sells individually. NAPA will charge a core charge ($111 for me). Just put your old calipers in the box and drop them off to get you core charge back.

Well if you keep wanting to get the front wheels off the ground..you better or your gonna end up like Brett with a split cross member and God knows what else. You can just plate the stock perches. That's what I meant. They are basically C channel sort of so you can box them.

My power stops were not right from the get go. Bolt wouldn't go all the way in for the line.

The Napa ones are a better way to go. Why go for the cheapest thing when it comes to stopping my 2 ton truck

Technically you're using them wrong, they come drilled by Toyota for a Hardline and you guys that do the tundy swap are using a banjo bolt which it was never designed to accommodate. But some of the reman people (Cardone, they rebuild for Napa) drill the holes deeper when they chase the thread.

Installed a Roto Pax as a test fit today. Still considering other options but this works well for now.

Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
Only thing I’d say about the Napa’s is inspect the caliber pistons. It’s not common but I’ve had some at work where some pistons were pretty pitted. But other than that I’ve installed a few dozen sets. Probably the best remans you can buy short of oem remans

If you get the Napa Eclipse reman calipers that I think everyone here is talking about, they come painted black already.

I have a red truck so I thought it would look tacky if they were red, and went with black instead. Mo betta.
