What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Swapped out the map & dome lights with some LEDs. Neither fit very well but got them in. The overhead console drop out was simple & worked great. Haven't seen it at night yet but will check it out later to see. The color is whiter & it seems way brighter in daylight too

Have the same one. Bought it for my 2016 and now use it in my 2017. There are a few sew threads where it folds that are torn. Going on 3 years. Overall safitisfed with it.

 

Disconnected battery, pair of channel locks, grip the inside of outlet and plastic outer lip, and wiggled it out gently. I forced the new one in as the hole is a bit small, but it will never go anywhere now. You can also place tape around the outlet to keep from nicking or scratching the dash.

 

Yes they run with headlights and with DRL, if I turn off DRL during day, they are off

 

I put an '18 logo on my '16 with the T-Rex billet grille. Pretty sure no one else has this combo.

 

Bandaid covered a bit of the chrome until I get finnaly get motivated enough to pull the lights out and do the BHLM.

replaced the stock bed decal with a matte black version. i like the subtleness of it.

 

I used

$6 3M VHB 100x200mm~ (4" X8") Double Sided Foam Adhesive Sheet Tape 5952 Automotive Mounting Industrial Grade Very High Bond 5952 (1 Sheets 100x200mm)

3M VHB tape and wire ties to attach it to the oval plate that ships with this grille. The '18 logo has tabs on the back, which I cut and shaved so the back was flat enough to give the tape enough surface to stick to. I was able to leave enough of the tabs on either side to drill small holes, through which I ran wires that wrapped through the holes on the backing plate to secure it.

 

That is pretty awesome

 

It fit perfect under there, the larger compressor and it's manifold would be a tight fit.

 

I’ve thought about under the hood, but I’m getting the bed storage adapter and putting a compressor back there.
