1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

When I was a kid my dream was to be an air force pilot one day, and the A10 Warthog was my #1 goal...followed by the F16 Falcons.

 

I’m a retired public school teacher and my husband sells ceramic figurines of Star Wars characters on Etsy.

Our budget is $3.2 Million.

I used to be a pilot in a bakery

 

When you venture away from electric compressors, you dont need as large as a tank to achieve the sane cfm. Screw and belt drive compressors can put out more with less noise. If I didnt inherit my 33 gal electric, I would be rocking a 20 gallon Northstar belt driven one. If you want more capacity, an auxillary tank is always an option, and they can be put outside the garage to conserve space if needed.

 

I train fashion turtles and my wife sharpens colored pencils 2 days a week. Our budget is 6.8m

 

I want something quiet, like that Eastwood scroll one. It would be nice to work in the garage without pissing off the neighbors.

I think mine is belt driven? I thought most of these big freestanding ones were.

My uncle would tell me stories of how when he sees A10s do runs when the gun goes off it looks like the plane freezes in places for a second from the recoil

Why the AF wants to retire that plane with no viable replacement lined up is beyond me.

 

I thought everything no matter how small and measly comes prefurnished like an Ikea ad.

Fun fact: all those home reno shows on hgtv that look all greatly furnished and everything is a sham. It all gets taken back after taping is done, unless the owners want to pay for it seperately.

 

He would always tell me stories when he would go do then damage assessment after the strikes. Pretty nasty stuff

 

Oh I bet. Tank armor piercing rounds is nothing to take lightly

 

I mean we could always bring back the carpet bombing tactic. No need for ground support if there is no ground left to support, am i rite?
