Morning Phil. The house looked really good. Haven't seen anything that we'll put together for that price awhile. So fingers crossed.


In other news, called out last night. ended up running a fever, had the chills, and just didn't want to give anyone this mess

 

We had a tornado with at least 23 dead and expecting to find more this morning. The ER was fucked last night. We shipped 5 out and had 2 or 3 die before 7p when we came in. There was people EVERYWHERE.

I didn't realize it was as bad as it was until I pulled into work. The pics are insane. We made the national news again. Tornados are fairly common, but rarely does this much damage.

 

I'll have to look it up in the am. Any word on your QTH?

 

I don't know if the repeaters are still up. I haven't turned on the radio since I tried to transmit and got kicked off

Fyi Phil they should be running skywarn down there. So if you're ever out and one of them sirens goes off you can turn into whatever frequency you can get and it'll tell you where the danger is.

Volunteer public service of amateur radio operators. The repeater turns to emergency comms only for distress and weather / danger updates. You'll just get the live reports via ham radio before the news can rebroadcast it

 

That was the weather net I mentioned and gave the freq for in the text. You could have reported from Auburn.

You didn’t miss anything. I played one night, lost sound and said fuck it. They have 7 days to fix it or the game can just sit there till they do. They are ruining the whole experience of the new shit.

 

I agree . My surf rod I use most was $240 with a crazy warranty. Break one piece or another and they’re replaced.... but the one I want in the Legend series is twice that. I like the rubber grip on handle. Ilotry to get a pic later . But for now I need to try and nap just finished with snow around house. Gotta go make sure my elderly In-laws ar all set after nap.
