I have the DB Customz Grill that says Tacoma and each letter lights up. I’m having trouble wiring it up. The problem is, when I connect the negative and the positive to the DRL fuse in the fuse box then it won’t shut off when I turn off all my lights...even still when I kill the engine AND kill the lights. The grill won’t turn off no matter what I do. My buddy told me to order this fuse that’s shaped like a square and we will have to see if hooking it up to that fuse will work but I’m still not sure. Keeping my fingers crossed, man.

The lightbar one, you just run a switch to it. The light up RGB one, might need a relay. I tried to wire mine to a switch and got the same issue, would just stay on. Even wiring switch before and after RGB controller. Weird but will figure it out when I look again. Im pretty sure if I remove their RGB controller and added a box RGB controller like an underbody kit it will work. They use a 1.99 inline controller. FWIW, DB customz has terrible customer service where even speaking to the owner about wiring to a switch was told, "Im not sure, we don't really sell a lot of these, you'll have to figure it out". I paid no where near retail, Im still waiting on a few parts from them since September. Nice looking stuff, but not worth the hassle. The grills are stout and the powder coat is nice though.

If wiring isnt your strong suit, buy a switch an harness and call it a day. The cali raised harness is prettt good for the money.

If you want it to die with the vehicle pick something that is fused to come on with the key in ACC position under the driver kick panel

Edit - youd need to know how much power youre drawing, but an add a fuse might work.

Some more shots... Install was smooth. Hoping to get the light wired up and switch installed this weekend but it's supposed to be COLD - especially for TX!70028619-5A2E-4763-8B7D-290E4130DB42.jpgAB3BAD03-8D58-432E-BB96-88AAB37A51B1.jpgF2EFD877-04B1-4697-9EEF-1CAAB1B3D30A.jpg
