    My wife is from just North of New York City, our joke is that I took her to LLbean for a winter coat and we went to Caribou for our honeymoon that lasted 4 years.
    I wouldn’t mind being up there to experience this.

    Lived there, while went to UMPI, would have stayed if her family wasn’t in NH. I was already in school and working up there when we got married.

    I'm about 30 min south in Thomaston... have a 2016 DC TRD OR 24k miles. Here's a pic at the Marshall point light house.

    I went camping north of the Golden Rd this weekend, up toward the Allagash. Could not believe how much snow was up there compared to So ME. Pictures dont quite do it justice.

    20190303_090826_HDR.jpg
    20190303_101105_HDR.jpg

    This was just a few miles into the Golden Rd, and the snowbanks are already just about as tall as the truck

    Ok guys, I think this is the list of people who said they were interested in exploring the Stud Mill rd area this coming Sunday, the 10th.
    @ME OFF Rd
    @MartinDWhite
    @Spare Parts
    @Scott17818
    @Noelie84 (maybe)

    What time do we want to meet in Bangor? I know some of you guys will have a few hours drive to get there that morning, so maybe meet up at 9am?

    I can be up there around 8, or 9... anyone from the south area want to meet up, and convoy up rt1?? Maybe meet up in Belfast?? Thinking I'm going to pack some fuel, and drinks/food. Got a Sierra stove so can cook off the tailgate.. I'll bring some firestarter wood (woodshop cutoffs). Burns great in the sierra... more or less just want to explore the area, never been up there..

    Not 100% committed at this point, but I’m coming from south of Portland.

    9AM would work for me, if I can make it. I'll try to get a definite yes/no from the GF by the end of the week on whether she's attending, not attending, or needs me to stay home and help her pack. :rolleyes:

    I will be coming from a little north of Portland that morning so 9 AM should be easily doable.

    For a meeting spot I have found this this to be a good stop when headed up to the county.

    Irving Oil, 2 Stillwater Ave, Orono, ME 04473

    There is an IGA or something right there as well, and right off the highway.

    After looking at the map a little more, don’t think we would be headed up that far north.
