So the camper sold this weekend, will be booking a hotel today. The only down side to going to Buccee's is that its not the back roads up that way. I understand the idea though so that others can join in on the run up, which would be cool as well.

It is a good direction to lean.

Recreate the convoy and get good rollers of said convoy on the highway...

    Friday morning at 7am.

Scout convoy route, Gather convoy, during trip every so often slow convoy pace and send out a driver to post up and take video/pics of convoy passing scenic spots.

I should be there with a few other trucks. Not camping though since the in-laws live 15 mins away. Kind of wish they didn't though...

I'm sure we can work it out! Come find me! I'll be the idiot in arm sleeves (because the SUN), a big stupid hat and a bunch of camera gear hanging all over me (probably complaining that I'm tired/hot/hangry/thirsty or hungover).

Very descriptive! I'll be on the lookout

I too like to wear long sleeves. When I was still working in the field I would be completely covered head to toe.

Stay way cooler than being skortched!

Oh no, think ever DORKIER... short sleeve shirt, WITH the spandex sleeve things. Keeps me from getting sun-burn-rekt (ask me about the first year I shot Jambo, LOL) AND stays moderately cooler than any of the long sleeves I have.

Pro-tip for first timers or those who may have forgotten last year... bring sun screen. Trust me... days two and three get REAAAAALY uncomfy nursing a lobster grade sun burn. Fortunately, if you forget, wally-world is right down the skreet!
