This summer, I’ve added new window deflectors so I can have the windows cracked but still covered, and a sun shade to help block the sunlight.

When my house was being built I paid exrre to get 2 extra feet added to my garage. I have a double cab F-350 long bed. I want to be able to work on it with the door shut. The F-350 is not my daily driver so my Tacoma fits easy.

20190214_154834.jpg It is a losing game.....a garage is never big enough! I have a 3 car that is 24ft. deep so all my vehicles get to stay inside. There is also a 12 x 20 shop on the left side. Used to be a bit cramped, but now that I be retired I kicked all the business stuff out so there is plenty of room. Though I now have garage envy after visiting my friend in Arizona who has a triple car with a 28 x 70 rv garage alongside (garage is open to rv garage) and it is all heated and ac run by a big solar panel array. Epoxy floor and all.....I be jealous! Had a bit of an issue with a 130ft. doug fir while I was at King of the Hammers so AAA is buying me a new roof. First gen Tundra goes in the open slot, Pro is in there, and the 85 mini hides behind the double doors. Garage door opening height is 7ft. 2" so even the mini and my old 40 had no problems going in or out (though the 40 was a close call).

My DCLB has never been able to fit in a garage comfortably. I can make it fit, but it's not practical. Currently have a 3 car garage, but that's where all the tools and machines go. Have one bay clear to do vehicle maintenance when necessary.

Funny thing is, I have a standard 2 car 7ft door garage and I built my home gym and Tacoma to fit in it. 2.5" lift ,285s, prinsu rack with gun case tool box and kayak rack stays on full time and it clears the 7ft opening by 1/2". I measured all add ons before ordering and home gym consists of powerblock dbs, bench, and a hanging heavy bag that all can easily be placed or hung on the wall for the Tacoma and wifes car to park in the garage. I cant imagine my black truck being parked outside in Texas heat. My paint is in excellent condition. 20190304_074028.jpg

The hanging tennis ball is an absolute necessity but still can fit a few sheets of plywood against the wall if necessary...:bananadance:D29E2754-78BC-4C52-8886-6F8BC6768476.jpg

Unfortunately, the home was preowned so I had to build my toys around it but it does keep my Tacoma budget in check.☹

Do you reassemble the truck when it's time go to somewhere and take it apart when you get home?

Living on the Texas Gulf Coast (about 1/2 from the water) along with our long hot summers, parking in a garage is a must. The empty side is for my wife's vehicle.

I park in reverse closest to left side and my wife pulls in forward closest to right side so we can open out driver doors more. If passenger needed then we pull out first.

Three out of my four vehicles are garaged. My daughter parks her Rav4 outside. I'll have to admit it's a tight fit! Each car has to be entered carefully and all other garage items (workbench, toolbox, bicycles, dirtbikes, lawnmower, air compressor etc) is laid out around them. I wish I had more room but I keep buying "stuff!" #garagecleanout2019

I did the same except I added 4 feet so I could have cabinets in the front, The Vette is garaged. Other vehicles outside the wife's CRV rest easy in the driveway

Mine is an '06. For the first 5 or so years it was in a garage then was outside in Baltimore, MD area without much shade cover. And now for about the last year it is outside in Erie, PA. Sun not terrible but definitely exposed to the elements in the winter.
