1st gen hood question?

    I was thinking the second gens have hood scoops on the sport models. I know the 1st gen 4runner has a hood scoop and I was wondering if that hood would fit on my 1st gen Tacoma? Anyone with any info on this pleas chime in....

    It will not. You would need to swap the whole front clip.

    I don't think it will. It seems like there is a writeup on here where one member cut the scoop off of a 4runner hood and fitted into his tacoma hood. The process involved a lot of body work, but the end result was awesome.

    here's one were he took the scoop off of a x-runner

    you can get a glassworks hood or hack up the 4runner hood and have it grafted to your current hood
