True, which is why I was also wondering if they can be rotated. I don’t think they can and didn’t see anything in the instructions about it.

My LEDs used to be in my low beams and I switched them to the high beams. The orientations of the bulbs are not the same. I could rotate the LEDs with a small Allen wrench.

Anyone know what typical time from order to shipping is from Xenon Depot? I ordered my HID kit last Wednesday but the status is still processing. Not in a rush but I just want to make sure the order isn’t caught in limbo between the old and new ownership.

    It happened to me.

I ordered on a Monday. Was stuck in processing until Friday. Received them Saturday.

Yup. I emailed them since on the website it says processing only takes 24 hours. They said it is because of the move, and after checking my order should be released for shipping in a day or two.

Not worth the extra, if you go with Xenon Depot, take the XD 5K, exept if you like your hid more stock/yellowish than white/blueish

Phillips are for the ones who just want the brightest lights out there. I have them and they can be to bright at times.

I wouldn’t chance the direct power personally. I’d get a new relay/harness- I don’t think there overly priced and I’m pretty sure you can get the trs branded version (yes I know they have one kind of partnership) or similar. 1 may have a better deal/discount than the other.

No issues with XD ballast directly connected to headlights (e.g. no relay harness) on 3 Tacomas over the years. XD staff indicated to me also that a harness is not needed on a Tacoma.

    In case you missed it
I was giving my opinion and even if you’ve had no issues on 3 tacos or whether or not xd staff says it’s not needed my opinion still stands.

Well, I started out with the Phillips bulbs. No problems at first, but developed horrible shake within 5k miles. Last week I ordered the normal h11 hid 4k bulbs from xenon Depot. Driving to work this morning, I expected no shake, but unfortunately it had returned with the new bulbs.

Are the flimsy blue orings sufficient? Should I swap over the thick red orings from the Phillips bulbs?

I'm concerned for the safety of other drivers with both bulb kits and don't know what to do to eliminate the dangerous shake!

    I appreciate the help!

They won't help you, Mine went out completely and they suggested I bought a new set instead of honoring their warranty. Worst company ever.
