It's so cold out they have all retracted.

I’m going to say no on this one, givin what you described your off-roading tendencies to be somewhat limited an mild. The uniballs are badass for a slick coilover or LT setup imho. Nothing wrong with a balljoint type I have them an been very pleased with them.

 

They will offer better articulation offroad and get you better alignment with a lift.

 

No need to go outside they in her purse.

 

depends on usage, they are stronger, more precise, allow greater range of motion (articulation) but not typically sealed so mud, sand, snow get in them, stock ball joints are weaker but contained in a boot full of grease to protect (for a while) and tend to be quite a bit cheaper.

Yes, it's a ball joint but the joints are easily replaced should you need to do it and only cost $61.00 however, I rarely hear of them needing to be replaced.

 

You can also get camburgs with a ball joint as well and reap the benefits of having a better alignment and still better articulation over stock

Ive had mine on for thousands of miles and they have not been rebuilt... like 40k. Just got to clean and lubes them every now and then

 

Umm I would choose these overall based on my usage, and the red looks cool also... I really considered these initially.
