Yeah I wasnt to sure about it. I got the idea from someone else, but they used a darker bronze. I know if I do it again ill use better lighting. once i put them back on the truck i could see some lighter spots in the spokes. but not noticable from 5 feet. I'll redo them this summer.
    Thanks.

Yes, installed in my garage. I did a similar install on a prior Tacoma. It's pretty straightforward if you have the right jacks, stands and wrenches. It's really just a lot of unbolting and bolting. Oh, and get the 6112's pre-assembled so you don't have to deal with spring compressors. Youtube videos help a lot.

This was my first time replacing an upper control arm. That was the toughest part because the long bolt runs into the inner fender. So you have to bend the inner fender out so the bolt can be removed through the engine bay. You also have to disconnect some wiring under the hood for the bolt to clear. That was a bit of a task but not crazy hard.

Went by the collision shop today to check on my baby. Most her parts came in but one has me thinking about this replacement grille..
Mechanic said it was what came factory in 16' + 17' but I've never seen one with a gray and smoked finish on a grille or on a Quicksand. I only saw it in the box. Anyone have a pic? I can't find it online..

Thank you! Have any pics of it outside? It almost looks dark enough, but still I don't think the one they got me was "black chrome".

That definitely appears to be black chrome, but just the interior piece. The bezel is definitely NOT black chrome. If you take a look at black chrome vehicle vinyl wraps, its very similar in appearance. It's not vastly different from traditional chrome. I think you were given the correct product.

I know they got me the right piece, I've just never seen that color. Maybe I can get em to paint it for me since they said they put it back to how it was aftermarket and all.

Correct, the separate outer ring is chrome. The grille itself is black chrome. Perhaps look for the label as shown in my picture.

Not much on the truck, but got some shit in the mail. Factor 55 Fairlead to pair with the Zeon 10k after I replaced the rope. Hitchlink since I don’t have a Recovery point on my rear ARB Bumper. Made in Merica

This is one I’m stoked about getting in time to install before my trip in 10 days. Off Road Only rock lights. Not the sexy pick, but rock solid, Made in Merica! You guys can have your fancy color changing/music dancing lighting. I’m gonna take this any day over that shit!:oldglory:

The Weathertechs even come with it and they put it directly over the hole fastener, wtf? That’s even more of a liability when it blocks you from securing it to the floor and it slips over your gas pedal and you drive into an Amish horse and buggy in the middle of PA. Yeah tear it all off.

    Help fellow clean wiring junkies!

Does any have practical knowledge of or a circuit diagram for the Blind Spot Monitor and Parking Assist switches? Gen III.

I want to free up on of the switch holes by combining those two onto one switch.

If they are on the same line that is perfect or of different I need to refuse one.

    OR
Has anyone seen a dual switch that fits one panel slot, either two switches or a DPDT as I can live with that.

    Thanks!
