I love dogs but some owners can go right to Hell. Ever since moving to Alameda we've had the occasional shit left in our yard or the patches between the sidewalk and curb, but the last two or three days some asshole has left fresh turds twice now. I'm pretty sure its the same person too because the poos are always the same size. I loath to become the kind of neighbor to leave passive-aggressive signs or notes, if that would even do anything to help, but I am rapidly approaching that state. I was hoping this last one was caught by the camera in our front window (mainly to deter package thieves) but looking through so far it doesn't seem like it. I so badly want to catch this fucker in the act.

I used this for a few years in the hood. It deterred the wayward dogs, cats and shitily parking neighbors...

We have so many dog walkers in our neighborhood, and most of them are fine. I don't mind if they use our yard, which isn't really maintained anyway, but as long as they pick it up.

They don’t always work. Mine would stand there and wait for it to come on.

Plus, if you have a sprinkler going, most people will leave the poop.

It's a really shitty thing, pardon the pun. We moved into our neighborhood in the past 6 months, I walk my dog twice a day and see a lot of neighbors during my walk. Someone, I think they even live on my street, has two little dogs that run loose, or get walked by their young kid, and they never pick up after the dogs. Now I get the nasty eye sometimes, and our nextdoor neighbor has put a no dog pooping sign up.

In my old hood, people didn’t walk their dogs. The dogs walked themselves...

Some woman was walking her dog and watched as it shit on the lawn. When she started to walk off, I hollered and offered a roll of poop bags...

There was some trashy woman that moved in with her boyfriend up our street. She would walk her pit bull up the street and let it crap anywhere and just leave it. One day she was letting her dog crap in my front yard when I was pulling in the driveway, she looked right at me and walked away. So I bagged her dogs poop and walked to her house and scrapped a nice chunk on the bottom of her cars door handles and deposited the rest of the bags contents on her hood. Never saw her walk the dog on our street again.

I walk my dogs twice a day but always make sure I clean up after them.

Sure it's a dog. From what I have seen in parts of Alameda lately it could some of our homeless brethren, happened at our and in the park down the street. I have done as some suggested picked it up with shovel follow dog home rang door bell guy opened door dumped it on his foot told him you dog forgot this. Never happened again, and this was a German Shepard the dork let him out every night after dark.
