As Va is a right to work state they can terminate me if I am deemed unfit to do my job. Workers comp or disability will have to kick in

VA is an "at will" "state" yes that is correct. They can fire you without cause, and you are also not forced to join a union. That still doesn't mean they can fire you due to injury on the job unless they can prove negligence on your part.

ADA should still provide protection. I would still consult with a labor attorney if you already haven't. Just cause a state is at-will doesn't mean you don't have rights that protect you from getting fucked.

Ah, ok. I thought they were just saying kick rocks, you can't work so you're toast. Makes more sense now. Hoping the workers comp or disability works out for you!

ATN has some decent stuff in a lower price range. TNVC is nice but hard for average joe to get what the seals use.

Hole E shit!!! that was good.

    Back on topic.

Everything I ever used was issue. Thinking of introducing NVS to the wifey for shooting.

Thoughts on this, that will not break the bank.

    Again, a thought.

Well, NV shooting is fun, but isnt very practical from a cost perspective in my opinion. Unless you buy a dedicated hunting optic that is NV.

I'm a fan of gen 3 Pvs 14s for a "low" cost option. But then, I factor in bucket, the mount, counter weight, and then a civilian Dbal, you are looking at like 4k just to be kinda able to run nvg off of a AR. We arent even going to get to the cost of a legal peq15 or la5 (very hard to get a civilian legal LA5) .

I'd call TNVC, or thier affiliate Night Goggles, and ask them what they would recommend based on your desired outcome.

Ok.. reality has set in. NVG's are out (like I had the monies anyway).

What to you all like in hand held GPS?

I have been doing the ipad thing with apps and wanna go back to the purpose built. While ok.. I'm getting tired of the app thing and caching maps. My Garmin Etrex is a bit out dated. The 276CX has been at the top of my list for awhile now. Although not exactly hand held (more permanent mounted), what do you all use, if you do?

True that. and living in a card board box is just what I want. haha

If spending monies like that I'd have to go with FN SCAR-17 instead.
