Cut some pipe to fit the length of the window and mounted it to the window frames using the existing screws. Mending plates and two-hole pipe straps bent to wrap around the pipe hold it up there. Used little d-rings on the bottom corners to stretch a length of paracord across which keeps the bottom of the curtains tight against the inside of the shell.

I don’t think those will stay up while wheeling.

My wife and I cut 'blackout fabric' to cover the windows and then sewed hook of 'hook & loop' patches onto the fabric. It sticks really well to the carpet covering, and no light leaks, as in no gaps.

And, the curtains roll up, no hardware to store.

You're right. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Takes less than a minute to put back up and no drilling into the shell. I've moved my set from my Flippac, to my FWC, and now in my current shell.

My girlfriend and I worked on our platform over the weekend. I wanted something heavy duty to support our weight without any supports underneath and be able to store a folding table or larger items underneath. I used one 4×8 and instead of buying another piece I bought wooden fence piece to fill in the remaining gap.20190227_172543.jpg 20190302_173724.jpg 20190303_102500.jpg 20190303_105005.jpg 20190303_111934.jpg 20190303_153518.jpg 20190303_154248.jpg IMG_20190303_155732_529.jpg IMG_20190303_155732_528.jpg

I think it would have been better to mount the panels directly to the tracks instead of using a crossbar. Much less drag and overall height.

I tried and you can't do it with the tilt mounts I have. At 35 deg tilt you don't have enough clearance to make the angle. The edge of the panel at the pivot end won't allow it unless you have the panels mounted way off to the side (not centered). I have thought about adding a Thule 873XT 52" fairing, but sio far I've not noticed wind drag on MPG or noise.

I'll worry about that when I get there haha. Nah I'll figure something out like keep everything in small totes or crates.
