I live in MN. And it gets super cold here. I don't know if it's the cold temp or what? I hear like a ticking noise from the engine? Normal?

Yes, a ticking noise can be normal. It's the cleaning cycle. You can probably find youtube videos with audio of it to compare.

Keep an eye and make sure it doesn't get louder. Had one guy where it ended up being the cam and valve's on his third gen
