2019 Tacoma Entune Premium Rebooting

Last month I got a new 2019 Red Tacoma Sport Access Cab. Just crossed the 1,000 miles on the odometer. I love it. I do seem to have a problem with the Entune Premium Stereo. The first week I drove it the radio quit and rebooted for no apparent reason. It seems to reboot unexpectedly about 3 to 5 times a week. It did it again this morning. I don’t think it is related to any particular mode. I play my music from a thumb drive via the USB, XM Radio and the CD player. I have not had it reboot while using the GPS.


I asked the dealership where I bought it if they had heard of this problem before and they said no.


It only takes a minute to reboot but it is becoming irritating. It doesn’t come back the same music or music source. I am afraid it will only get worse.


Is anyone else having this problem and what suggestions might you have to fix the problem?

My only complaint about Toyota is that Entune is a worthless POS.

 

I would wholeheartedly agree!
Pandora is gone.
Weather works just sometimes....
Maps consistently does not show sideroads and show me just rambling through farmer Browns corn field when I am traveling down a 2 lane road.
But hey, I can check my stocks while I'm on the road.

Mine is a 2012 Tacoma.
Not sure how the newer vehicles Entune works. Has there been anything added that mine doesnt have?

My wife is looking a the Highlanders and with the issues she is seeing with Entune on my Tacoma it is making her think...
She has put the Honda Pilot in her choice options.
