Front tires or tire had to be hung up on something. Drive shaft was weakest link.

There may be nothing to it, but both this truck, and the Ford "LOOKED" like there had been some previous stress on the driveshaft. I've got to wonder how many miles these trucks had been driven in 4X4 on pavement prior to this. Doing that would stress the front drive shaft much more than the rear shaft and weaken it to the point where it would fail first. Nether truck had damage to the rear shaft which I'd think we should see too.

Purely FYI, but the stock rear driveshaft has cardboard inside the tubing. It works really really well as a fire starter.

Only time I’ve used 4wd was when I needed it in snow, sand or mud. Most of the time 2wd does just fine

Well I'm not far from Newport News if you need to borrow a front drive shaft. I'll be staying in 2wd since I'm scared to go to OBX now hahaha.

I'm down there somewhere between KDH and the point all summer. We stay on Oregon Inlet a lot since I have family in Manteo and KDH, but I get down to the point every chance I get.

No the Demons have a factory warranty that even covers drag racing . However the Hellcat and Redeye aren't covered on the track

As for the rear axles grenading on the Demons there's a simple brace that's available and will totally eliminate the rear axle from coming apart . However if you bring the Demon in for warranty repair and they see that aftermarket brace they'll denied warranty
