Im blown away at how awesome these tires are. They are planted in rain and snow better than I expected them too. And they look mean!

Damn, yeah. Unfortunately, I think 16" tire options are going the way for the 15".

I completely agree! They grip so well compared to the stock Toyos. I had a chance to test the tires in some light snow and slush and they didn’t even struggle. I noticed the tires picked up all the snow and slush and threw it out of the way. IMO, these tires are better than the duratracs too.

What is the outlook on additional sizes for this tire? I'm specifically hoping for a 255/75/17.
    Thanks

As others have said, pictures really don't do them justice. Like them so far but haven't driven on the highway yet.

3in rough country suspension lift. 285/70r17 GY UltraTerrains on 2016 4runner wheels. Also have 2005 DCSB tacoma prerunner. Currently stock, working on 4x4 conversion then will get lift and bigger tires.
I have had these tires for a few months now in a 285/70r17 and they are fenominal, great traction in rain, snow, ice, mud, rocks. I was able to get out a few weeks ago to some snowy and muddy trails at ladee flats here Oregon and was very impressed with their proformance on the trails. Tho I was a little disappointed because I didnt get to try out my new winch. Tho I guess I can call that a win.

We got a nice bit of snow here in salem Oregon and I took the truck on the backroads in some snow and the tires dig and kick out all the snow. These are amazing in cold weather.

Agreed. I had the duratracs before these and loved them but I would rate these ultraterrains higher than the duratracs all the way around for what I do.
Someone mentioned a while back that the duratracs have larger voids in them than these do and I would have to disagree, if you see then side by side they are nearly the same void size but the duractrans have larger lugs similar to an MT style tire. Personally I think having the same size void but more of them would grip better in most situations tho the take away would be less strength in the smaller lugs when going over sharp rocks.

The UltraTerrain is exclusive to Discount Tire so you'll likely never see these offered by a Canadian dealer.

We can mail order a set to you though

Thanks for the info , between the week dollar and my shipping location it would be cheaper to take a road trip to visit you and have them put on :)

I would agree, shipping and tariff fees add up quickly.

Would love to see this, too. I'm set on getting Ray 10's, now debating on tires. I'm all over the place on what to do.

    Wildpeaks
    Duratracs
    Ultraterrains
    KO2
    or even some MTs...

Kinda leaning towards UT's or Wildpeaks in 265/70r17

Getting 265/75/16 UTs mounted on F5s as we speak. Almost got the Wildpeaks several times but these are 3lbs lighter and a deeper tread. Nuff said.
