53,000-70,000 depending on trim and options .

Mine had the non adjustable suspension (coils instead airbags), with leather and mahogany package . No drivers assist or safety features beside bsm and parking sensors front and rear.

Just curious of you are near any other TW members maybe you can try out a different set of wheels temporarily just to see if you can figure out if it is drivetrain or wheels?

I've got a 19 and runs smooth at low speed and highway. The only thing I've noticed is the trans shifts a bit hard when cold but my old ranger did the same for 20 years and nothing came of it.

Most non-enthusiasts probably think the 4Runner is a mommy vehicle too. Who cares.

Hard shifting is better for the trans than soft shifting.

Dang, so many butt hurt Tacoma fans on here when someone mentions going with another make...I drove a ford for 6 years and put 200K on it and when I bought it, it already had 68K on it. In those six years, I spent less than 2K on trips to the mechanic. Guess what, other makes are more dependable than Toyota's. Shoot Tacoma came in last place in dependably in 2019. But most of you don't wanna hear it. The Tacoma is a great truck, but no new truck with less than 2K miles on it supposed to have three bad parts replaced on it already...if you think "that's normal" you need your head checked.

Same experience here. As I said earlier, mine is like night and day compared to my buddy’s ‘16.

My 2015 TRD Sport has no vibrations in the steering--smooth as glass. I tried the link given above to the GM forum and it does indicate a problem with torque converters and fluid that is in some GM trucks. If it was me I would trade it in for another truck as the longer you have it the greater the depreciation. If you go to another make then it is your choice not anybody elses choice. I've been driving Toyotas for over 40 years and several lasted over 400,000 miles with only minor maintenance. Traded to get updated features as they were all running great when I got rid of them. The Toyota brand has been very reliable for me but I think the stealerships have gone downhill over time. I chose the 2015 because it was the last of the 2nd. generation and bugs were worked out by 2015. I still don't trust the 3rd. generations as there are many new changes and that there has not been enough time to demonstrate if problems will arrive. Time will only tell on them as with any generational change of any brand. I wish you well!

Apparently, not that uncommon. I've heard very similar from someone.

I have had 4 toyota trucks, dating back to the early 90's. After reading reviews on Canyons, Colorados, and Tacomas, was really thinking hard about a Canyon. Truck of the year, great reviews, beats the tacoma, blah, blah. Never drove one, but looked at a lot of them. Could never find any equipped the way I wanted, which is loaded, but not a Denali. It would have been a hard move for me to make, my 06 Access cab 4x4 Sport with just over 100 k had 3 light bulbs burn out. Thats all. Still had the original front and rear brake pads and shoes. And I paid 26 for it and just sold it to the first guy that came to look at it for 16. When I drove the 19 Tacoma, I liked it, no vibes, trans shifts a lot, but not a big deal. Try and sell an 06 Canyon for 16 grand. Good luck. And how much in repairs would you have to make to that Colorado Canyon in 12 years of ownership? I am totally happy with my decision, 19 Limited. So in response to your original question, no vibes at all, anywhere.
