3rd Gen High Capacity Alternators

You may need to find a higher output GM alternator and modify the mount and pulley to fit the tacoma. I may start there.

Out of curiosity, why so much power on a CB?

SDHQ sells a 270 amp alternator. Might be a good option.

These look interesting, but is the standard 3rd Gen 130A controlled by the ECU? If so, it may limit the voltage out of these 270A alternators.

It says they’re plug and play and looks good for an AGM battery at 14.8V
