What line of work are you in?

 

This one in SD is with FEMA; but Dept of Army now. Work history is strategic planning, Operations/Training, and Emergency Management. This would be an EM position.

 

Oh neat. So tough market out there eh? Think you'd have any better luck with a real estate agency ?

 

I ordered the Suzuki low gel seat. I've read where people say it sucks and isn't comfortable and even read ones where they like it. I guess we'll see

Would probably have to do that. I found zillow to be pretty good for looking - just a cursory look now, haven't had an interview yet. I think i'm most-worried about the cut-off-from-civilization I experience now. Where I am is the highest number of americans living outside the USA. Good family feel, but as a single man in my mid 40s, there isn't much of a market. German women know i'm leaving, too many American women are 250lbs+ and feel entitled to 35yo AirForce pilots or doctors and all that. Can't compete - don't want to compete. A little worried I'd get to SD and there'd be seven single women and 12 teeth among them.

I can either go back to Detroit (no.), Quit (am 9 years from retirement), or Find a new job somewhere. I'm opting for the latter - I have about 18 months left here before I have to quit or go to detroit. I have some time.

after the long ass day Ive had, im trying like hell 5 hours to go!

yesterday was my birthday so sunday night my wife and I grabbed some drinks with friends, then I got in to work 8-4. had an arrest at 230 so stayed late. went home, ate, slept, back in for the 12-8a. good times

 

Still have mixed feelings about this
