Anyone ever went to this one italian joint that used to be apart of the Hale Koa before they rehabed the hotel? It used to have a wall of celebrities, but when the Hale koa got redone the owner chose to retire instead of reworking the restaurant. Best italian I ever had.

Never been, but the restaurant on the ground level, the steak place is great.

If we don’t stay at Hale Koa, then we will try to go to Kailua.

I think Waikiki is nice because you can easily get everywhere on the island.

If you like landscape photography check out the Peter Lik gallery in Waikiki. Dude takes some amazing shots. Cool place to kill some time before or after dinner.

Picked up a G19 gen5 MOS today. Brought it home and gave it to my wife, “you got me this for my birthday next month. Have the kids wrap it, I’ll act surprised.”

I love his work. Checked out his gallery in Vegas a few years ago. Almost went home with one.

We've got 6 of his squares in our condo mostly cause they are affordable. I'd love to have a big panoramic above our bed though

Figured I would throw this out there...I got a used tepui 3 man auntana sky khaki tent with awning that I have had for a few years. Was only on the truck for about 10 months as I never got around to making a new bed cage attachment for it since I have glass bedsides. Normally retails for 1900, looking to let it go for 1000. I will update with pics later, but figured I would throw it out here before I list it.

I do, graduated in 2014. Borrowed a reasonable 25k. Still owe about half. 3%~ subsidized rate. Got my degree at UA BaS in Networking Admin. Work now as a software test engineer on storage. Glad I picked NA over business management I was originally doing.

I had about $25k when I graduated from UoP in 2004. I paid it off when I sold my condo a year later.

That’s the reality these days. I had around $120k when I finished my residency 10 years ago. After 10 years of paying them down I’m around 28k remaining....

Most of the students my wife is teaching are graduating with 200-300k worth of student loans. They will never see the light of day...

Boy that is messed up.. I can't imagine what paying the minimum monthly on 250k would be, knowing you have a decade or more of that.

Yeah, you really have to weigh how much you want that career facing that kind of debt load and the debt to income ratio.

That’s just insane. I’m shooting for under 20k, but will likely be closer to 30k and feel that’s a lot. I did pay for my first 2.5 years cash out of pocket though.
