    Yeah, each county has their own SAR unit. I'm in Thurston.

    King County has an awesome 4x4 Team and they are VERY active and always looking for more volunteers.

    ya lets do it. My neighbors brother wanted him to join but he's so busy with their Church activities. He said I should go check it out.

    I got to meet some of them in 2013. I was such a noob and took my basically stock truck up into the snow to impress a girl. Found a stuck jeep and I went to pull him out and we both ended up stuck with the strap tight between us. Snowshoer's were hiking past us and one guy said if we were still there when he came back he was going to call SAR. Well by then I dug out my truck and got it back to dry pavement and hiked back to help the jeep. SAR team showed up and pulled him out.
