    Lots of good info on this thread. I'm trying to find some decent replacement for my interior lights as well, but it seems like most of what Amazon.com has to offer has been all kind of junk.

    The best I've found are these (
    LED Lights for 2016+ Toyota Tacoma Interior Reverse Package Kit White 11pc
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B016XZ42HW?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share), but the amazon reviews say they're not any brighter than the OEMs. If anyone has some success with their interior lights upgrades, I'd love to hear it!

    I almost ordered the 2018-2019 29mm dome light bulb from Diode Dynamics, but the 6000k is back ordered (ships in 4-8 weeks) and it's $9 for the cheapest shipping. The price is $10 for the bulb, and $9 for shipping which I found a bit annoying so I didn't order it lol. I'm currently using the TacomaBeast map light bulbs, visor bulbs, and license plate bulbs, and the OEM dome light bulb :rofl:. Which is fine for now, I guess I'll wait and see what TacomaBeast comes up with or see if there's other things I can order from Diode Dynamics to amortize the shipping cost.

    Thats what I have. They are actually day and night as compared to OEM incandescent ones.

    I order the Diode Dynamics LED's for maps, dome and backup lights, I am happy with them, the dome seemed a little small but it fits and has not fallen out.

    Thanks for that info. Did you see my post earlier? I tried 2 of the common 31mm bulbs and found them to be too big to fit in my 2019's housing for the dome light. I just want a bulb that fits as well as the map light and visor bulbs :annoyed:.

    The dome is a different application compared to the map lights and you will not get a good tight fit on the dome due to the bulb shape and fitment application.

    Having tried 2 different bulbs claimed to be for the purpose as seen in my earlier post, I am aware of this. It's good to point this out for others that may not know. :thumbsup:

    From what I've read, the interior lighting upgrade, to brighter LEDs, is sketchy at best for functionality.
    Not that I've tried them yet, but would like too. Problem being, finding a "kit" that's made appropriately.
    It seems no one has actually designed "specifically" for the application.
    Also, LED's are suppose to be 50,000 hours, "if" they are quality.

    Who has the quality conversion kits?
    6000K LEDs are BRIGHT.
    Bright enough to melt cover lenses if left on for a lengthy time?
    I would hope not.
    I see big names selling, but the LEDs are garbage.
    Please correct me if I'm wrong, or misled.

    I looked into Meso, but not convinced on the LEDs used in the design.
    I imagine they get overly warm for the application.

    Let me know what questions you have about the chips used. Besides some early models(like 2 years ago) I have had very good luck with my map and dome lights:)

    YES VERY BRIGHT, I almost instantly regretted changing my map lights. Used LASFit 6k lumens ... And ouch, I'm looking for a tamer option.
