When are y’all planning this little shindig? I could use some wrenching in my life but I’m tied up this weekend and next.

So I began dismantling this winch and I think it’s likely too far gone.. most all of It is so damn corroded that I am losing hope that this thing is even operational or can be made operational.

With that being said, I bought a winch last night haha. Anyone want a winch to tinker with?

Lol I don't really have a use for it or I would take it. Hose it down with some penetrating oil and get back to it after you install the new one.

Well you’re welcome to it. If these guys end up doing a mod day when I can come up I’ll bring it. If not, next time you’re in town feel free to snag it. Gonna PB blaster it a few times and see if I can start that work for you at least

The time frame is what's up for debate. I'll be busy this weekend too, but after that is a different story. Shooooot if @voz decides not to take it, I may have to call dibs.

Does anybody know if there are any Amsoil dealers in the North Raleigh area that keeps a lot of products in stock? There used to be a guy that had a store by Triangle Town Center but it closed. He stocked about every product Amsoil has. Thanks

Amazon keeps telling me they've noticed I bought auto parts and want me to switch to a business membership. I can't find definitive differences between a business and personal account. Any help?

You get access to better pricing on some stuff and also prime delivery is available on more items.

Or so they report... It could be that it is just a load of bullshit. BUT, when i was researching winches online and clicking to view them on Amazon, it would load in my browser (not logged into my account) and would show not available for prime. When I found them with the app, they were prime eligible.

i got that message yesterday, “We see you’ve been buying electronics....” and offered a business prime account. Was wondering same thing.

kinda wonder if it isn’t a way to jack you over the $120 they now charge for Prime

I think it’s horse shit that they jacked the prime membership up from ~$100/yr with an additional +$20 when the current service, incentives and deals have been in an ever growing death spiral for some time now.

I got my first prime membership in '17 and then renewal last yr was the jump I hated it but the shipping has already saved me that much.

im not happy about it, mine renews next week, but factoring in shipping I could have paid, i'll bite this time

im not a "power buyer" by any means, but it is convenient, its saved me a bunch on appliance repair parts as well as allowed me to buy shit I wouldn't have otherwise bought.....

it is the only place I have found rear tires for my tractor at a "reasonable" $250 ea....... now I just need to pop for them..... but the current ones still hold air after 22years... tread..not so much
