Yesterday, right after lunch tomorrow, I will have had some time to test the part for you. Joined the aftermarket grille club today. Toyota needs to make these standard.

I didnt do this mod, someone else did. Truck is just about 4 weeks old. Parked in my driveway. To put myself in a better mood, I put the skid plate on today. Im pretty lucky I didnt put on the PRO grill yet. It would of been toast.

I just ordered the headlight trim plates. Did you have to remove the bumper to install? Kind of remember someone saying they were able to install them without removing it, but can't find that thread.

 

Whats the deal with the gasshole?

 

Truck was feeling frisky today; 413 after a fill-up. Anyone occasionally get over the standard 385 range after filling the tank?

 

I think you quoted the wrong person, but the gasshole is a means of holding the gas cap while you are filling up since the gas door doesn't have a gas cap holder built in.

 

Mine was at 416 when I rolled off the lot in January, each fill-up after that has been around 340, was 365 once. Im guessing this mid-western winter that never ends has something to do with it.

 

Makes me glad my work commute is 8 miles round trip. I have buddies with '17's that are on 50k+. They hate me for it
