I let anyone give me guidance especially if it's free, what I do with it is another story, I had a couple of young guys save my life a time or two. So I listen and move forward. I do not want to keep going off topic here, so this is the end of it.

I'm probably the same age as you Sarge, and I was hoping you weren't looking for the plastic louvers...you might want to try the J.C. Whitney catalog which is where I think most guys got their "custom" stick on bits back in the day and that outfit is still alive and well.
I kind of think Tint has replaced the window louver, but everybody likes different stuff. Good luck in your search and thank you for your service.

I was toying with the idea of a kind of visor thing for the rear windshield (like on the forerunners)... It came about when I took a pic of my truck next to a suv that had one, and at the angle of the pic it looked like it could have been on mine...
Also for something a little different I kind of like this

I sent my guy a message about the louvers, he does window tint and thought maybe he knows where to purchase.
I wonder what happened to all of the ones that were made in the past. I was trying to find a picture of my Old Chevy truck. Cops called it Darth Vader, as it was painted flat black and windows were tinted. I was a young pup then. Got pulled over after playing a gig. I was a musician as a second job those days. I thought I was a star.lol Now I look back at those days and see myself as a clown.
