Oh, I just thought it might be someone that @LostHusker , or @Misplaced Nebraskan might have known back in the day!

I will admit that a Michigan redneck would have used PVC, because it's easier to repair! :anonymous:

No, as far as I know it has always been @MarX but at one time his avatar was spongebob. Mike @Comatose and I were just curious if anyone has heard from him because the last post he made was New Years Eve.

I actually started a conversation with him yesterday but haven't heard back yet.

Does it only do it on deceleration? Or acceleration too? Some people experience both. Typically though it is acceleration. Normally, as long as you lifted your truck 3" or less the ECGS Bushing will resolve the issue. If it wasn't there before but now is, that is likely the culprit. If it has been there all along, and your truck is relatively new, and the needle bearing is as new, then most likely the driveline is out, meaning you dramatically changed the driveline angles beyond the recommended 3 degree mark. That would require the drop or even shims on the rear axle. Usually not both.

You could also get under it and try to shake the driveshaft to see if there is any play in the carrier bearing.

Also, some people have been known to rotate the carrier bearing bracket 180 degrees (the bracket is offset to one side) which is just enough to get them under the 3 degree mark.

I think ARB calls the bumper to frame brackets and fog light surrounds a "fitting kit"

I had to google it! Smaller than Lockhart, and that's saying something!

Indeed, and Euro as well. All the lighting ballasts and lamps I used to work with are "gear", and anything that puts stuff together is "fittings".

I have no clue :notsure: I would assume a torch and lighter would give it that black look you are looking for :notsure:

It originally came with the base/dark grey color. I did the Duplicolor paint match stuff to that, but it chipped to shit from the flying rodents we call insects down here

I cant let it go because it's a Navy thing for me... I don't like when people disappear and in the military it never bodes well. Plus the date of his last post coupled with his sudden disappearance is more than coincidental and concerning.
