Yea, I'm trying not to think that way at all. I am definitely going glass half full on this one! But you are right, too many great posts and relationships to just drop off without a goodbye. And I'm the same way. I would never leave anyone unaccounted for.

Ahhhhh, so there is a pattern!!!!!!

I was going to remove it, but then we got to talking, he didn't remember doing it due to the inebriating effect Jack or Jameson has on him (he couldn't remember which) so when I found out the back story I decided it had to stay, unless he removed it himself.

    Feel better soon!

I would use either scotch brite or a 120 grit sandpaper so that when you get the chrome off there aren't huge extremely noticable sanding Mark's like a lower grit would leave behind. Try to make long sweeping strokes if doing it by hand. I would consider priming it and then spraying it with a few coats(allowing a good dry time between them)before adding a final clear coat if you're going for a shiny look.

I bought a replacement one that is the color but I would have to cut it apart. so I would rather try and paint this one first. If not then I will cut the other one and fit this grill in it

    Cool thank u

I will try the 120. Seen a lot of videos of people pilling the chrome off. Just seemed like a lot of unnecessary work.

As of this morning her bloodwork showed that she seemed to be getting better. She is on all kinds of meds right now and has to go back again on Friday for another blood workup. If that shows that she's maintaining well then she will go back once next week for another blood workup and at that point we will make a decision on how to start weaning her off some of the additional meds.

As of a few minutes ago she is snoring away in her bed all cozy and warm and my mom is checking in on her every couple of hours. She's eating and drinking again so she's getting strength back and starting to act more like herself.

I think we got really lucky by getting her medical attention as early as we did and I am so grateful that she seems to be one of the few who can recover from something like this.

I was going to update you guys earlier but honestly just been exhausted. I'm at work trying to keep my eyes open and function since I haven't slept really since Saturday. I also gave notice here today that I was leaving so I'm trying to make it clear I'm not one of those people who just Cadillacs through their last 2 weeks. I want to get them set up to where they're in a significantly better place when I leave so the transition goes smoothly.
