if you get recon for a lift, rear mud flats are required, regardless of what you put.

IIRC as soon as you do anything to your truck that requires recon, you will automatically need mud flaps.

I wouldn't even bother with recon if it's only for a front leveling kit.

Link fixed. You could also search in the forum for “recon” and I’m sure it would have popped up.

From my understanding, mud flaps did not come with 3gen Tacoma’s front Servco unless the person added them as options like OEM roof rack, bed mat, “all-weather” floor mats. However, once you modify the suspension, mud flaps will be required by recon.

Any modification to your suspension including spacer/body lift require recon.

It’s ultimately up to the driver/registered owner whether or not you want to risk getting caught.

Only if it’s across the front windshield with something ridiculous like, “It’s hella fun to do the impossible”.

You know better than this, Jeremy!

Haven’t had to do recon in a long long long time. Basically the last time I did recon you could slip the safety guy 50 bucks and he would pass your truck no matter what.
