It had no response and was bucking and choking to where I had the throttle halfway down before it would respond. I pulled over cleared values, reflashed, idled.

No more weird tempermental behavior

 

Im not. I thought the same. It wouldn’t respond like before, almost as if there was no tune, throttle response was gone. Pulled over, cleared values, reflashed, idled. Now it’s fine

 

Wonder if you can make it do that again. Repeatable vs fluke

Is the 04B02 Performance 91 tune available yet?

 

Pulling this from my phone, due to emissions regulation on parts regardless of "race use" we can't do it.

You can use tech stream and flash the TSB. Then you won’t have to wait.

I just received my cable today (finally) and I'm getting the "error downloading file" on the bottom of the Toyota Flash Manager for all tunes I try to download. Am I missing something?

 

Did you register with OVtune?

 

Yes. I followed all instructions in the .PDFs to the letter.

Update: I reinstalled from the beginning, restarted my computer, and reattacked and it seems to be working.

 

Are you downloading the right tune? None released tunes will give you that error.

 

And you are selecting the right ECU ID (not the truck year)

My truck is a 2016, but have to select 04B04 under 2017
