As Mat had said, the only way to get the MT tune as far ahead as the AT is with dyno time. Otherwise he is tuning blind.

Yep, and street testing. He has to experience what's happening himself. Unlike the slushbox I'd imagine, you can feel every little quirk with our trucks.

Ordered. Im not new to mods or tuning, but no mod has ever given me the anxiety that I might be wasting my money like this one.

So much of this is subjective to driver experience. The data/dyno is somewhat telling, but its not really able to articulte the finee points that are supposedly addressed.

While you are waiting, use some of that nervous energy and do the accumulator delete mod if you haven't done it already. It and the tune are the best mods hands down for the M/T trucks. It will feel like you are driving a completely different truck when it is all said and done. ;) FWIW I feel the accumulator dremel hack is the quickest and easiest route with no additional parts/bending involved and retains the stock appearance so the dealer wont notice you modded it ;) It took me just a little over 30 minutes to do it on my hoist at work.

Did that last week, wasnt worth the hype. Not sure if they did something different with the 2018 models. It made the shift transitions a bit better, but I had mastered that already.

I think Im so used to my performance clutches that “feel” means nothing to me. Its either all grab or nothing at all. There is no feel, there is only on or off.

You are the first person I have seen that say's that, but I get where you are coming from about the clutches in these trucks compared to a "performance clutch" Apples and oranges that's for sure...

A lot of people will say something is great just bc they did it. Honestly, I did it hoping to get some feeling back (and I got some) but I really did it bc I think the accumulator wears the clutch faster. Now, that is worth it.

Did I mention bleeding a slave cylinder by yourself sucks?

Gravity is your friend. I did mine by myself and didn't have to push the clutch pedal once. Give it a try if you ever have to open the system again.
