Lol I get it. I was balls deep into the install before I realized these things. But the only other alternative with NOAA stations was the all in one Cobra where all of the controls are on the mic.

I was headed out to drive my morning bus route when I took that photo. We almost never do delays, and I can't rember the last time we closed school. If we closed school on the same conditions many schools in the country do, we would have most of the winter off.

Went to tint my back windows, found out that the vendor didn't include the right die-cut parts for the job, even though the kit is supposed to include all three options- 1, 3, and 4 pieces. They did, too... except for the 4-piece part I need. Grr.

Tinted the extra-cab windows, finding the cuts weren't 100 percent perfect. A bit wide around the popout levers, and not quite deep enough to clear the bolt hole. Ah well. A little electrical tape will solve the problem once they are dry.

Will tint the driver and passenger windows tomorrow, and hopefully they get back to me tomorrow and send the rear pieces quickly.

You do have the V6, right? That's what I saw in the photo of the engine... Camelback is lying with the 2001 photos then... It's interesting that you do have the headers going into the crossover tube but the rest doesn't match?

I have 2 cats if that's what you're talking about.

Yeah, V6. The crossover pipe and passenger side headers join and make one tube before the flange, then it's one piece until after the 1st cat.

Might have to replace gaskets on my exhaust and headers too.

    BUT

the truck is garaged for now and packed full of stuff right now. Had to make room to fit her in there so I had to fill up the bed.

So that ought to get you about 0.05% more MPG?

Trick's on @Crow_of_judgement ... gas mileage is going to be worse with the more turbulent air and not having the designed air dam up front.

...As we made our way into the hills, we eventually turned into a wash and behind down into a hidden valley, simply following tracks from visitors that were few and far between. And before us, the colors were suddenly amazing. I let out an audible "wow," over the CB - Ben and Zane still a ways back - and stopped to capture the situation.
