Bastards keep blocking my driveway

Don’t want to tow them - they might retaliate.

Gonna have a sign made. So far I came up with this:

 

Leave a note on their car, warning them....then tow them the next time they block it. That way you can make sure any feeling of culpability is gone.

 

Be a grown up about it and talk to them. Ask them to stop. If they don't, follow through with having their vehicle removed.

 

These aren’t repeat offenders. It’s a different car every two days. I do however talk to my neighbors, with some semblance of the skill of an alleged grown-up.

 

If the cars don't belong to your neighbors, then who is parking in your driveway and why?

 

Fuck man, that’d be a part time job. This used to never happen. Then seldom would. Then more. Now it’s a few times a week. Different car every time.

I’m not gonna loose sleep over it or anything (despite the hour), just thought it would be fun to fuck with these “kindness is everything” sjw Berkeleyites.

 

No idea. Like I said, it’s more fun to fuck with them with a sign that will no doubt disturb at least some of them. I’d bet that there’d be thirty complaints filed with the city about the language on that sign within a week of me putting it up.

I’m just looking to have fun with it. I can tow them all day but that doesn’t prevent someone else doing it next time. I live in a busy neighborhood with restaurants etc nearby. Likely a lot of these cars belong to people going to them.

I think the fact that my driveway is double-wide makes people take liberties with parking like this. Uber and lyft always drop and pickup there too.

 

Put up "No Parking $150 Fine" signs and go get a parking boot. Someone parks, run up and throw the boot on. $150 to take it off. Be sure to keep a record and pay income tax on it.

We have to deal with this weekly to take trash containers to the curb. Most people here have 2 or 3 generations living with them, i assume to pay bills. On an avg day i know across the street they have 5 vehicles they have to park (never in the garage). Next door to my left they have 4 vehicles daily to park and none in garage.
To my right they have a couch and shit in their garage, a broken down rig in the driveway, and 3 other cars.

Driving down my street after say 6pm is horrible, it looks like theres a party at every house. Across the street and two to four houses down, things got a lil heated when someone parked in front of the others house while remaining on a public road and not blocking a driveway. One idiot pulled a pole outta their trunk, and the other idiot ran inside and came back with a machete.

You really think they will read and pay any attention to that sign? My guess is most will roll up and think you house is a historical landmark or something.

Who pays when you have someone's car towed?

 

Where I'm at the car owner pays in order to get it back.

I am thankful everyday that I live where I do and can escape from dealing with people.

 

So can anyone call a tow truck and have a vehicle towed at the car owners expense? Seems like a lot of liability on the tow truck if anyone can call them.

In 12 years of where I live I've had one guy park his car on my property. Seems like he'd been drinking so I called the cops and they hauled him off to jail.

 

Do not aggrevate the situation, won't work. Upgrade your entire life, move to a better neighborhood.

 

What's the city ordinance for parking on a public roadway?
If they are breaking the law, let LE handle it.
That is their job, that is what they are paid to do.
It will keep you safe and them employed.
