whats with the pics on the main page for threads?

edit: it can turned off or on at the bottom of this page

 

new feature, pretty sweet i thought!

 

kinda distracting to me. who decides what pic gets added to it?

 

It just seems like whatever picture was the most recently posted goes in the thumbnail by the thread name.

 

i like it thats where i chill
and there are some wild threads that come up lol

 

some threads dont have pics but do have a thread "avatar"

Can't think of any productive reason to have this like that. Must be to get people annoyed and quit posting as often so TW doesn't outgrow it's current server or something. This would be one time I'd like to see the red Xs.

 

Good to know. I think it's kind of distracting so far, but I'm starting to get used to it. I'll give it awhile first.

i don't get why software people and forum operators constantly have to tinker with the software to add crap features like this.

 

BTW, I was j/k....about the server being outgrown. Thanks for the head's up on the options pg.
