The military humvee goes 70+ I think. It's just geometry of it that makes me think it lol.

 

It's when you need it that you want reliability. A cheap gun is nice until it jams up on you when your life depends on it. Most buy the Made in USA Warn's for the reliability and piece of mind.

 

I don't think warn is made in the USA. Unless it's like Milwaukee for example, they have a china made and USA made.

 

The VR's are not to cut cost and compete with the Smitty's and cheaper winches but there are versions made in Oregon.

 

So the same principal as milwaukee

I just thought Smitty was just as good as warn lol just half priced. If I was going to buy a new winch I'd get a warn Zeno. for the remote control clutch cause my big hands have a tough time with the Smitty one.
