Keep an eye on that hose rub. Over time it could rupture.

Hell yeah. Now, just because I'm a noob and like to baby my truck (beside when I carelessly sideswiped it with my other car), I have to ask... the CMC wont have any adverse effect on structural integrity/ rust susceptibility, right?

No not at all. The plate I weld on is as thick or thicker than the frame. As far as rust, that comes down to how well it’s painted. Painting the inside is a little tricky but it can be done well.

As @EatSleepTacos stated above, you won't have any issues. He is good at what he does, even if I refuse to tell him that.

What’s up guys...would anyone be interested in a beer and wrench/garage weekend in Bowie when it gets warmer?

I’m pretty active in the car scene and modded my 850R and T-5R a bunch. I’d host car weekends and we’d all hang around and shoot the shit and work on cars. I’ve never done it with the Tacoma crowd (because I haven’t done that many mods yet) so I don’t know anyone, but would love to meet other Tacoma people in the area. I’m just now starting to mod my truck more, now that it’s paid off.

Anyway, would anyone be down? Like I said, I live in Bowie.

I'd be up for that - I recently picked up a first gen that I'd like to start working on.

Already taken care of. Just had to tweak that 90 a hair to get rid of the rub.

    Nope. That's my truck.

I might be down, although my next project wont be for a little while and i'll probably have a shop do the wrenching, unless you have a garage with a lift lol. Always down for a beer though

Oh jk. When you said "The below pictures show it the best." for some reason I took that as meaning a random pic.

Haha. Understandable. What I really meant was that it's the best picture that I had quick access to. It's in my build thread, so I just copy/pasted the link from the post it's in. Might have something better in my Google Photo, but I was posting from a computer and didn't want to find it, then download it just to upload it here.

Speaking of garage with a lift, has anybody heard of Wits End Fabrication in Hanover? They seem legit, jw if anybody has experience with them

I know @joshtxedition13 has a lot of his work done there, and haven't heard him say anything negative about them.
