I didn't really start posting much till around 2010 or so. Got involved in some bs threads and off it went. I post a good bit in the graveyard shift thread but none of those count.

Damn, talk about a headache! I would order anymore tires that gave me that kind of hassle! My Duratracs are holding up very well and are wearing evenly. I can tell that they are going to be a loud tire as they get balder though. They already have a low rumble for an AT tire. I'm getting some mudders put on after these wear out.

 

You got a great deal (how much if you don't mind?). Built my own trailer and incorporated tons of ideas from builders (thanks YouTube) in Australia/South Africa. They have been building them for years and took a bit longer before they took off in the US. Somewhat outrageously expensive on the website ($8,495 for the ATT, probably without any upgrades) and somewhat heavy (Unloaded Trailer Weight from 1900 lbs) but they are stainless steel and very well made. That said, a lot of US builders are also charging just as much for less extensive builds using steel/aluminum and not stainless steel.

 

Picked it up for 5k. Completely hand bent, welded and riveted. Not a single lack or box is bought. Only things that are aftermarket are weather stripping, lights, hi-lift, fittings and tongue.
I am with you, these things get crazy expensive. I like the Conqueror ones, as you can get up in them, more like a beast of a teardrop.
I had to jump on this one, like you said. Hard to find well built things out of materials that will last. Besides, I got to see my old best friend from lower school on the trip. Beat his ass in pool and darts that night, he was so pissed. I don’t even play.

 

why is it not round to match the slider tube? or are you trying to lift from the inner square tube?

Go look here. Trident904 has and I asked quite a few questions. Same here about not pulling trigger. There are a couple of threads on TW but I haven't followed for a while.

 

I’ll probably make another one day but it’s not high on the priority list unless somebody specifically wants me to build one for them. I’m not gonna start making them in bulk though. F that. I like big meaty projects.
