I hope you insulated each conductor with heat shrink first....

Replaced upper and lower ball joints and outer tie rods. Had to dremel through one of the castle nuts because it was so stuck the socket rounded it.
Surprisingly it took care of my front end shimmy, though I’m pulling a bit to the left when braking now.
still going to do the UCA/LCA bushings to really shore it up. Probably do that in a weekend or two.

Anyway, here’s a picture of the bone yard.

I’m 99% sure my passenger side pull is worn LCA bushings. Hopefully it cures yours

Fingers crossed. I need to figure out how to get those bushings out without a press or burning them.

@Timmah! has a great video for this. I think you’re going to have to press and/or burn them out no matter what, but you should be able to do it with a vise, bottle jack, or ball joint press. I can’t remember if it’s whiteline or energy suspension that you need to save part of the old bushing for.

Didn't know, I thought the 01-04 had different mounting points.

The replacement plug has a rubber piece and a housing that separates the conductors. Would I still have to shrink wrap the conductors?

Here’s what I want to do. I want to add water/meth injection. What would be great is if I could use the 7th injector map to control a PWM solenoid to inject. Just remove the injector and use the wiring. Aquamist sort of does this by matching a stock injector pulse to inject meth. The only issue I really see is getting all the voltage and electrical currents correct so it will work. Anybody have any idea who could help with this sort of thing?

I have no clue but I'll be following...I have the URD 7th as well but want to add methanol injection, too. I just figured I'd run both (unless there's some reason why I shouldn't) but if I can use the 7th piggyback to control the meth that might be a better solution.

Id ditch the 7th all together. The unit is ultra outdated.

Get and FIC6. Slightly bigger injectors. Tune it and then add a meth kit that is either boost ref or maf voltage ref.

Yeah, wish I knew all this getting into it. Had zero experience with this sort of thing. But at this point I have so much time and money invested I really don’t want to start over with a system that doesn’t have a wiring diagram for my specific pin out or tune something like that on a DD.
