My 2003 Tacoma's turn signals started acting goofy a while ago by the left signal flashing faster than the right. Then the left signal would not work if the headlights were on. I replaced the left turn signal bulb and there was no change. Now none of my turn signals work (no noise from the flasher, no lights on the dash, and no lights on 4-corners), but the hazards work perfectly - all of the bulbs in the dash and on the exterior work. I have checked the fuse and it is good. Can the signal relay work for the hazards, but not the directionals? Please help I cannot drive the vehicle without directionals.

Now the hazards do not work, nothing, no directionals, and no hazards - should I replace the signal relay. If so is it behind the fuse panel under the dash, or is it in the fuse panel under the hood?

Possible your turn signal switch is so worn the contacts no longer make contact

But to fail completely both sides is strange

The fact the hazard lights work all the bulbs work.

almost has to be the switch contacts physical damage to the wiring from the turn signal switch to flasher is also possible

Thanx guys, replaced both of the fuses (they looked good at first, but the OHM meter said no) and the relay and all is working. Knock on wood! I still think there is a further problem. This is a former Arizona truck and pack rats get into everything including vehicle wiring. I have extra fuses just incase. Still love my Tacoma! Thanx again. Benwabe

    Low blinker fluid? j/k

I'd replace the flasher relay(s) and check for loose grounds. Electricity is an amazing thing - never know where it's going to go.
