Speaking of paint. The house is pretty much at the painting stage.

    Bathroom tile started last week.

    IMG_20190222_160933.jpg

Shower pan was hot mopped today.

Sub floor in the Kitchen/Dining room was replaced today. Ended up needing to be replaced because the previous owner mortared tile strait to the subfloor. It was easier to replace the sub floor then try and get the mortar off.

    IMG_20190223_110921.jpg

Painting will probably start this week or early next.
Then flooring in the living room and kitchen.
Once that is in I can start installing the kitchen cabinets.

    So close and soooooooo broke.

Thinking about a Drinkwater/Rowher Flats run this Thursday. Has anyone been there last few days? Has the trails 'de-slimed' enough for a solo run?

That was where I did this about a 9 days ago (Drinkwater)

    20190216_111714_HDR-1.jpg

...just climbing the gatekeeper off of San Francisquito. It is massively rutted out from the storm water running down that part of the trail and it nearly toppled me sideways, if the wall of dirt on the side hadn't been there I surely would have. And because it's so narrow you don't have any choice but to put your driver's side into the rut, I won't be attempting it again from that entrance for quite awhile.

Wish I had gotten a pic of the spot where it happened but trust me when I say that it should be avoided right now...I've done that trail so many times I could probably do it blindfolded but that gatekeeper is in bad shape from the weather we've had

I would run it from the other direction instead starting off of Bouquet, or maybe take some of the power line access roads into Drinkwater instead. I don't know about Rowher, haven't been there in awhile

    Thanks Ryan,
That is plenty of convincing for me. I wait till the annual bulldozing happens.

The boxes for flooring are out of frame to the right and left.

I think they will start putting it down next week.

Should work for me! I've gotta replace the lower bearings in my Kings before I hit the dirt again but I have the parts and should be able to do it by then...was going to do it this week but of course it's dumping rain again.

Also gotta confirm with the wife that we don't have plans lol. Calendar looks clear but I've learned not to rely solely on that

Cool man, we'll plan a bit more as it gets closer, and we have better idea of the weather.

Wife and I have a joint Google calendar, if I put something on it before she does, I get priority on it! It won't be an issue for that weekend though, since she's out of town for a friends bachelorette party, so I'm free most of the weekend!

yeah we have a shared Google calendar as well, but I'm not nearly as organized as she is and don't always add things to it that I should have haha.

No I am doing very little work myself. No time to do it.
I go by the place after work almost every day to check on progress.

Looking to replace that front door with this one.

I took the plunge and had the security screen door from wynstan put in. Pricey but worth it for the scumbags around lomita and harbor city lol20181208_172552.jpg 20181209_090414.jpg you can see through them like a screen door but when locked nobody is getting in.

Exactly. We dont have AC in the house and I never plan to put it in. We get a wicked breeze that blows straight through the house so we like to leave the doors open. But mosquitoes and flys come in or our dogs run out. Wife refused to get one of the steel doors so I found this company. It's a stainless steel mesh that looks just like a screen but...
