    Yeah.
Being the middle child of 5, I was blessed with invisibility. I just had to re-appear at 6:00 for dinner, but pretty sure my mom had no idea where I was most of the time, lol.

What load of shit not to mention a waste of taxes. For crying out loud, I struggle to find a memory of any parents supervising any kids at all when I was a kid. There’d be swarms of us without an adult in sight. At the park, the beach, riding the bus. Hell, my parents MADE me go outside after school and I just had to be home in time for dinner. So many memories of just riding my bike around at night in the rain, getting soaked. Like, 4th grade.

I feel for ya! Shoulder shit sucks... only real injury I’ve had but I guess they all pry suck now that I think of it. I work a very physical job. 10-12 hour days of fast paced heavy lifting and my dumbass asked the surgeon if I could continue to do my job until Dec 2018 (tore everything.. rotator cuff, bicep tendon, and labrum in January 2018) She told me damage was already done and she would need to detach surgically what was still attached anyway so she gave me the go ahead to keep working. I made it until October ..... couldn’t take it anymore. Ended up with anchors and metal drilled into the bone and reinforcement mesh. Now surgeon thinks she needs to go in to remove scar tissue cuz I don’t have the Range of motion I should for 5 months post op. Have another MRI soon to find out for sure.

JC Penny's catalog women's underwear section was where it all started for me.

    Yeah.
Dislocated it in HS football, then again a few years later just leaning on it wrong, then got side-swiped in a Renault LeCar (go ahead and laugh) and knocked it loose again. Avoided surgery and did PT then, and it's been fine for 30 years. Went camping several weeks ago, and the sound of the creek was super relaxing, slept like a rock. Woke up on that side with it halfway out of the socket. It kept hurting for a couple of weeks, so went to have it checked. X-rays thankfully looked great, I think they were surprised, but it was vary unstable. It's back to decent range of motion, but not without pain, just working on strengthening certain muscles. Apparently that joint is complicated.
