Billionaire diamond trader dies during penis enhancement procedure, reports say


A billionaire diamond trader has died during a penis enlargement operation at a posh Parisian clinic, it was reported.

Ehud Arye Laniado died at the age of 65 in the clinic of an unnamed plastic surgeon on the Avenue des Champs-Elysees in the French capital.

According to local media, complications during surgery proved fatal for the Belgian-Israeli dual national and he suffered a heart attack when a substance was injected into his penis.

VICKSBURG, Miss (WJTV) - Twenty-seven-year-old Joseph Wesley Springs is the man who jumped into the Mississippi River while fleeing police.

Vicksburg Police Department Lt. Johnnie Edwards says Springs ran from a Tahoe pulled over by police early this morning around 4:50 a.m. Police say Springs had outstanding warrants. The Terry man ran into Ameristar Casino and jumped into the freezing waters below.

Around 10 a.m. authorities spotted Springs running on the railroad tracks toward a tunnel. Police apprehended the man. According to the department, he injured his head during the jump into the river, He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.



Vicksburg police pulled a man from the Mississippi River who ran during a traffic stop and jumped into the frigid waters of the Mississippi River.

WJTV 12's Lanaya Lewis is on the scene. According to officers on the scene, the man has a head injury and is en route to the hospital for treatment.

The story began this morning during what police described as a routine traffic stop.

Authorities say they stopped a vehicle around 4:50 a.m. this morning near the Circle K on Washington Street. Officer say they believe the man inside the stopped Tahoe realized he had outstanding warrants and was about to be arrested.

The suspect ran toward Ameristar Casino and jumped into the river.

A second person in the vehicle has been arrested on misdemeanor charges.

A Florida man’s plan to board a plane carrying an unassembled rocket-powered grenade launcher was busted by Transportation Security Agency (TSA) officials, according to the agency.

The unidentified man, who hails from St. Petersburg, Florida, allegedly attempted to board a plane at Lehigh Valley Airport in Allentown, Pennsylvania, headed for Orlando when his checked baggage triggered an alarm while going through security.

TSA agents opened the bag to discover unassembled parts to make a “military-grade rocket-propelled grenade launcher,” TSA agents told WLS.

“When assembled, the launcher was determined to be non-functioning and the grenade an inert replica. (Thank goodness!),” TSA Public Affairs spokeswoman Lisa Farbstein tweeted Tuesday.

The man told TSA agents he thought he could get away with packing the weapon so long as it was not functional and the accompanying grenade was not real, NBC Philadelphia reported.

TSA agents allowed the man to board the plane to Orlando after confiscating the fake grenade launcher.

Swedish automaker Koenigsegg claims its recently unveiled Jesko supercar should be able to achieve speeds of 300 miles per hour.
While the company hasn't been able to prove it yet, if true, that would make the Koenigsegg Jesko the fastest street legal production car in the world — by a wide margin. The current record holder is generally understood to be Koenigsegg's Agara RS, which this car is replacing. An Agara RS went 278 miles an hour on a Nevada Highway in 2017. (There is no agreed upon governing body or standardized test for "top speed" so record claims are always open to quibbling by other automakers.)

The starting price for the Jesko, which Koenigsegg unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show this week, is roughly $2.8 million. It has a 5.0-liter turbocharged V8 engine that can produce 1,280 horsepower using regular gasoline or 1,600 using E85, which contains 85% ethanol. It also has a nine-speed transmission with seven clutches. Most automatic transmissions with clutches (most do not have them) use one or two. The multitude of clutches — one for reverse and six for forward gears — allows the transmission to instantly shift between any two gears. For instance, if the car is cruising in seventh gear and quick acceleration is needed, it can immediately shift down to fourth without having to step down through sixth and fifth. That saves time when accelerating. The driver can also select gears using a stick that resembles a manual transmission shifter

The Jesko's body also incorporates several aerodynamic features, including an enormous automatically adjustable rear wing that can produce up to 2,200 pounds of downward pressure at extremely high speeds. It also has four-wheel steering. The rear wheels turn as well as the front wheels for tighter turns or smoother lane change maneuvers.

The car is named for the father of Koenigsegg's founder and CEO Christian von Koenigsegg. Christian credits Jesko von Koenigsegg, now in his 80s, with supporting the company, both financially and with his business acumen, in its early years.
